Dear Writer-Friends,

I've been self-publishing since 2011, and I've shared the knowledge I've gained in two books: the Indie Author Survival Guide, Second Edition, and For Love or Money. I'm not an indie rockstar or a breakout success: I'm one of thousands of solidly midlist indie authors making a living with their works. These books are my way of helping my fellow authors discover the freedom of indie publishing. Write on, writer-friends!

Support Teen Lit Day: Rockin the Drop!

I'm joining YA Confidential, Reader Girlz and Figment in celebrating
ROCK THE DROP.

Wherein we anonymous drop YA books around for people to "discover." #awesome

I'll be dropping my book (of course) and a few others snagged from my bookshelf, as well as posting pictures of the drops on the readergirlz Facebook page. I may even linger around to see who picks them up, as long as I can avoid stalker charges. (I may have to consult Laura Pauling for spy tips!)

It's not too late to join in, if you'd like! Snag a bookplate from YA Confidential, print it out, insert in book, and drop away.

We had a big dump of snow (!!!!) last night. So leaving books outside might not work for me. lol
