Dear Writer-Friends,

I've been self-publishing since 2011, and I've shared the knowledge I've gained in two books: the Indie Author Survival Guide, Second Edition, and For Love or Money. I'm not an indie rockstar or a breakout success: I'm one of thousands of solidly midlist indie authors making a living with their works. These books are my way of helping my fellow authors discover the freedom of indie publishing. Write on, writer-friends!

And the Title of Mindjack#3 is ...

Obviously, I have the most talented and wildly creative readers! Just look at these ideas for...
Mindjack#3!

Even better, the tongue-in-cheek answers...

In case you can't tell from the word cloud,
my Working Title for Mindjack#3 is ...
FREE SOULS

Which TWO people guessed!
(Bravo! And so many people guessed very closely!)

And the signed copies of Closed Hearts go to ...
Winner#1
(Two, because I'm giving both correct guessers a copy)
Monica Jay
and
Nickie McCall

Winner #2
(randomly chosen from all guessers)
Michelle Long with Captive Souls

Winner #3
(randomly picked from everyone who had either
FREE or SOULS in their guess)
Kelsey Ketch with Liberated Souls

Thank you to everyone who played along!
It was so fun seeing all of your guesses!

  1. Okay, fine but I think you should write a short story, Fried Brains, where Agent Kestral gets what's coming to him.

    Free Souls is terrific!

  9. That's a great title. I struggle with titles so much that I get depressed by them and sometimes don't think of one for weeks. I admire you can put one out with such bravado.

Now that you say it -- it could never have been anything else!

  11. Love the title!!!! I suck at coming up with titles. I spent two hours one day coming up with another one for my wip. Apparently that was a wasted two hours according to my CP and a beta reader. Fortunately the love the original title. :)
