Dear Writer-Friends,

I've been self-publishing since 2011, and I've shared the knowledge I've gained in two books: the Indie Author Survival Guide, Second Edition, and For Love or Money. I'm not an indie rockstar or a breakout success: I'm one of thousands of solidly midlist indie authors making a living with their works. These books are my way of helping my fellow authors discover the freedom of indie publishing. Write on, writer-friends!

Cover Reveal: Blood and Snow Serial by RaShelle Workman

I'm SO excited to be a part of fellow Indelible RaShelle Workman's tour for the complete set of her Blood and Snow serial. RaShelle blazed a wildly successful trail with her 12 part serialization of her Snow-White-Turns-Vampire story, starting last summer and cranking out the stories until she recently finished the set last month. I remember when she launched the idea. I was impressed. Amazed. And absolutely didn't think I could ever do anything like it. But RaShelle showed me it was not only possible, but an incredible experience as well. (And she's tolerated my barrage of questions about the mechanics of putting out a serial for my upcoming Debt Collector series... because she's awesome that way).

RaShelle's sold over 130,000 copies of this series. Now that the complete set is out, you can discover what literally tens of thousands of other readers already have...

Synopsis:
Every thousand years the Vampire Queen selects a new body, always the fairest in the land, and this time she's chosen Snow White.

Snow isn't an ordinary girl. She doesn't know that yet.

When Snow gets bitten by a Hunter, her life is thrown into a whirlwind of change where instead of worrying about what to eat, she has to fight not to drink the blood of fellow high school students. She becomes a revenant - not quite human, not quite vampire.

With the help of an eccentric old Professor, his seven adoptive sons, and her best friend, Snow learns to control her blood craving. Sort of.  She drinks a bloodlust tea, but she'd rather drink from her Hunter.

Or, a human.

She also discovers a whole other realm, one filled with fairies, dragons, and magic. And not only does the Vampire Queen want her, but there's a pendant called the Seal of Gabriel created for Snow by the Vampire Queen's twin sister. And Snow's supposed to use it to restore balance to all magical creatures. Including vampires.

  4. I love the sound of this and wow, I love the 12 part idea. I remember how much I loved it when Stephen King did that with the Green Mile. I wish I would have been onto to this from the beginning, but at least now I don't have to wait to read them all :)
