Dear Writer-Friends,

I've been self-publishing since 2011, and I've shared the knowledge I've gained in two books: the Indie Author Survival Guide, Second Edition, and For Love or Money. I'm not an indie rockstar or a breakout success: I'm one of thousands of solidly midlist indie authors making a living with their works. These books are my way of helping my fellow authors discover the freedom of indie publishing. Write on, writer-friends!

Franny Knows Best – Wait, What Happened?

Angela *clears her throat*: Hello all. Me and Gwen-
Gwen *waves and smiles*: Hey everyone!
Angela: - were supposed to be guests on Franny Knows Best but there’s some, uh…paranormal
difficulty? That just sounds all kinds of wrong coming out of my mouth.
Gwen: Best way to describe it. First the Soul Collector showed up in a dark corner on the same
hall as Franny’s dressing room. It took several stage hands with flashlights in
shaky hands to force that evil away.
Angela: Then Q was spotted in the audience crowd. I’m glad I’m not the one that had to tell
Gwen: Have you ever seen a ghost hyperventilate? Neither have I, until now.
*giggles erupt in the background*
Angela: Abby and Indigo, this is no laughing matter.
Indigo: You two got off lucky. Just ask Badger and Basil.
Gwen *nods in agreement*: She is a 125 year old madam. No telling what she’d ask us about.
Angela: Whoa. I hadn’t thought of that. Be thankful for the unexpected, maybe?
Gwen: Soul Collector did us a favor for once. Let’s get going before she works up the
courage to do the show.
*giggles erupt again*
Abby: Wow. I didn’t know Gwen and Angela could move so fast.
*cue the Downtown Abbey intro song*

  3. Love the interview!!! A ghost hyperventilating... Congrats Angela and Gwen!!<3

    1. Thanks Cecilia. Ghosts are almost human, lol. :)

  4. Those two play off each other so well! You ladies will definitely amuse the Army on Friday.

  5. Thank you for hosting us today, Susan. We almost had a show, but you never know what the characters are going to do. They tend to misbehave at any given moment.

  6. Ha that was funny. Personally I think The Soul Collector stole a wonderful interview opportunity.

  7. Best wishes to both ladies! I've read Gwen's first book and still need to publish the review on Amazon and Goodreads.

  8. That would have been an interesting show! Congrats Gwen and Angie. Conversely to Stephen I have read Angie's first book so far. Must catch up!
