Dear Writer-Friends,

I've been self-publishing since 2011, and I've shared the knowledge I've gained in two books: the Indie Author Survival Guide, Second Edition, and For Love or Money. I'm not an indie rockstar or a breakout success: I'm one of thousands of solidly midlist indie authors making a living with their works. These books are my way of helping my fellow authors discover the freedom of indie publishing. Write on, writer-friends!

New Release: Keeper (Mindjack Origins #4)

I haven't published a book for a whopping 2 months, so I figured it was time... plus it's Valentine's Day, and this story is a bit of a mash note to all my favorite Mindjack characters...

a Mindjack Origins novella (#4)

Keeper (Mindjack Origins #4) - a companion story to the Mindjack Trilogy
Seventeen-year-old Kira Moore is determined to be part of the second-chance mission to free her fellow mindjackers from FBI Agent Kestrel's secret prison, but Jacker Freedom Alliance leader Julian believes she's too valuable to risk in the operation.

Keeper is a short novella (12k words or 40 pgs) in the Mindjack Origins series, which are companion stories to the Mindjack Trilogy. Keeper is told from Kira's POV and contains major spoilers for Closed Hearts (and minor ones for Free Souls).

More Novellas To Come: Keeper, Warrior, Viewer
Keeper is the first in a planned trilogy of novellas, each from the POV of a different girl character: Keeper (Kira), Warrior (Anna), and Viewer (Ava). They're a complement to the first three Mindjack Origins stories, which are told from the POV of different boy characters: Mind Games (Raf), The Handler (Julian), and The Scribe (Sasha).

I like symmetry.

If you haven't read Mindjack yet, the first one is FREE... so that makes it easy, right?
